As part of the Laudato Si Week, the introduction of the Prayer Network for the Care of Creation and the World Day of Action for our Common Home led to the conversation “Laudato Si ‘: Franciscan contemplative life”
In the spirit of Laudato Si’ 2021, the platform “Prayer Network for the Care of Creation”, a network of communities committed to the healing of our common home, has been created. The JPIC Office, with the support of Pro Monialibus, has invited the Poor Clares, the Capuchin Sisters and the Conceptionist Sisters to be part of this network.
The Poor Clare Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament, a 48-year-old monastery in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines was inspired by the encyclical Laudato Si and responded to the call of Pope Francis to transition into renewal energy.
