Franciscan Network of the Mediterranean

In the Republic of Malta, on September 6, 7, and 8, 2019, those responsible for the areas of “Evangelization and Mission” and “JPIC” of the Franciscan entities bordering the Mediterranean Sea met to reflect on the possibility of creating a Mediterranean Franciscan network.

After reflection, we decided to share the activities carried out in our entities, which mainly focus on ecology, migration, human rights, ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, and youth and vocational ministry.

Based on these activities, we decided to create three networks:

• Migrants
• Dialogue / Peace
• Youth
