September 1 is the World Day of Prayer for Care of Creation and the first day of the Season of Creation. As part of the Laudato Si\u2019 Revolution, a global Franciscan campaign for integral and ecological conversion, the JPIC Office celebrates this year\u2019s World Day of Prayer for Care of Creation with the newly released RAP SONG, \u201cLaudato Si\u2019 Revolution\u201d by Br. Sandesh Manuel, OFM.<\/p>\n
The music video, which is the second video of the campaign, is full of energy and inspiration for ecological conversion. It urges us to take a bold move to live our Franciscan vocation more radically in today\u2019s world. Pope Francis asked us to get engaged in the interreligious dialogue for the integral ecology. That\u2019s why the video contains various clips from multi-religious groups around the world. We hope you listen to it, watch it, sing to it, share it with others, and take part in the action. We believe that it has enough power to get other religious traditions and youth together in the campaign. Let\u2019s feel the beat and take action!<\/p>\n

We are not God, our role is humanity<\/em><\/span>

And in terms of business and consumerism<\/em><\/span>
I think we\u2019ve lost track of what\u2019s real and what really isn\u2019t<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
So how about we start living today in the name of Christ?<\/em><\/span>
Like Saint Francis and let go of our possessions<\/em><\/span>
Do that and see what happens to all your obsessions<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
Rejoice in Jesus\u2019 name, realize we can get along<\/em><\/span>
We can\u2019t replace beauty with man-made constructions<\/em><\/span>
Change the way you live and let go of all your obstructions!\u201d<\/em><\/span>
