With the attendance of 175 pastoral agents and<br \/>\nthe proposal of six workshops, one of which was the workshop on the caring for our<br \/>\nCommon Home, presenting the Encyclical Letter Laudato S\u00ed to catechists, coordinators<br \/>\nand animators of communities and chapels, mainly in rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laudato Si\u2019 Workshop for young people and adults in confirmation:<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Saturday afternoon, 31 August 2024, in the parish of San Francisco, there were the<br \/>\npresence of 65 young people and adults from the different communities for confirmation,<br \/>\nwhich we presented the main ideas of the Encyclical Letter Laudato S\u00ed. This exhibition featured watercolors that depicted, from the artist\u2019s perspective, various natural landscapes from the Parral area and the province of Linares.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Catechesis Saint Francis and creation: an invitation to a change in lifestyle:<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Friday 6 September 2024, in the parish hall of our community, we held a catechesis<br \/>\nabout St. Francis of Assisi and Creation, an invitation to a change in lifestyle. The<br \/>\ncatechesis was attended by 25 children and 25 adults on the occasion of the celebration of<br \/>\nthe Season of Creation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecological walk Laudato Si\u2019:<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Saturday 7 September 2024, we carried out a practical experience of an ecological<br \/>\nwalk in the pre-mountain range in the Bullileo sector, 40 kilometres east of the city of<br \/>\nParral. Thirteen young people and seven adults took part in this ecological activity, and we<br \/>\nhad the opportunity to experience moments of reflection, perception, prayer and fraternal<br \/>\nsharing. The activity culminated with an act of reparation by planting 8 native trees, boldos,<br \/>\nmountain laurel, peumo and coigue.
