The annual JPIC Course is organized by the JPIC Office at the General Curia of the Order of Friars Minor (Franciscans), in partnership with the Pontifical University\u00a0Antonianum<\/i>, Rome. We have offered this course for eleven years, with a special focus on the training of new JPIC promoters in the Order. The aim of the annual JPIC Course is to provide training in the analysis of socio-environmental justice and peace issues from a variety of perspectives to participants who will use this material in their JPIC promotion work.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

2020 Edition.<\/h2>\n

The Annual JPIC course is canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/span><\/span> The OFM JPIC Office is profoundly grateful to the San Pedro Bautista Province of the Philippines and its JPIC Commission, especially, Br. Cielito Almazan, OFM, Minister Provincial, and Br. Angelito Cortez, OFM, JPIC Animator, for their cooperation and openness.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of the regular course, the JPIC Office will run a series of online courses on the encyclical Laudato Si’ and integral ecology in different languages as part of the Laudato Si’ Revolution campaign<\/span><\/span><\/a>.
